Chelsea will carry on next season without the presence of Belgium international Romelu Lukaku at the club.

Even though technically Lukaku is still a Chelsea player, he would, however, continue playing for Italia Seria A side Inter Milan on loan next season.

A report revealed that the Belgian striker is happy with his return to San Siro which he left last summer to join Chelsea.

However, up until returning to Inter Milan, the Belgium striker endured a tough year at Stamford Bridge as he was not impressive in the Thomas Tuchel’s led squad, making him keen for a return to Serie A.

According to Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Lukaku arrived in Milan on Wednesday morning to sign the contracts.

Romano tweeted: “Romelu Lukaku has just landed in Milano, 6.30am Italy time: I’m really happy to be here. It’s gonna be his day to sign contracts for a comeback to Inter.

“Lukaku’s lawyer, already in Milano in order to complete contracts and announce the deal with Chelsea.”

The Belgian would hope to return to his stunning form in the Seria A.
