Chelsea midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, has finally taken a stance on his future at the club.

Loftus-Cheek who had been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge to Leicester City this summer has decided to remain at the west London side.

A report via the Telegraph said Loftus-Cheek has ‘no desire’ to leave Chelsea and does not want to be included in a part-exchange bid to sign defender Wesley Fofana, despite interest from Leicester City.

The Foxes have shown interest in the 26-year-old midfielder, who is out of favour at Chelsea.

Loftus-Cheek failed to impress at Chelsea, despite his obvious talent.

Leicester City coach Brendan Rodgers is known for his ability to bring out the best in under-performing players and a move to the King Power Stadium has been touted, especially as Chelsea are interested in Fofana.

Chelsea intend to bring down Leicester’s £80 million asking price for Fofana by offering players, which may include Loftus-Cheek to go the opposite direction since they are interested in him.
