Liverpool not interested in signing Ramsey

Liverpool have reportedly ruled out interest in signing Aaron Ramsey from Italian Seria A club, Juventus.

There had been rumours that the Reds were working on bringing in the Wales international as a replacement for Georgino Wijnaldum who has been linked with moves to the Spanish club, Barcelona this summer.

Ramsey is struggling to perform at Juventus and the report revealed he wants to return to the Premier League.

On the report linking Liverpool with moves for Ramsey, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has shot down the rumours on Twitter as he insisted that there has been no contact between the two parties as of Friday.

However, there are claims that a return to the Premier League is indeed possible for the 30-year-old this summer, but it is not Liverpool.

It is unlikely that Liverpool will also want to sign him because they have numerous talented midfielders in their squad already. Also, his age is another limiting factor that can prevent the Reds from making a move for him

Ramsey was a key player at Arsenal where spent 11 seasons before joining Juventus in 2019, where he has so far made 61 appearances in all competitions under Maurizio Sarri and current manager, Andrea Pirlo.
