Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has insisted that the reds are not interested in bringing in any new players this summer transfer window.

The reds only signing in this summer transfer window is Ibrahima Konate who joined from RB Leipzig earlier in the transfer window.

Though there has been rumours linking Liverpool to different players as they try to replace Wijnaldum who left Anfield for Paris Saint-Germain, Klopp insisted that a deal might not be announced.

Speaking to the press ahead of Liverpool’s first match, Klopp stated that he’s not interested at the moment about what would be the team’s greatest achievement because he have no idea what is possible for the team this season.

Klopp stated that the team will try absolutely everything to be in the best possible positionat the end of the season.

He noted that being successful in the past is not the reason for being successful in the future, but it should not hinder you or deny you. It just gives you information.

Klopp added that Liverpool have different players in this season already. Last year they brought in Thiago, who never played in front of a proper crowd at Anfield. Monday for a couple of minutes was the first time.

Diogo Jota never played in front of a proper crowd and he’s not sure Taki Minamino did, maybe one or two games, Kostas Tsimikas never did, Ibou (Konate) never did.

The German tactician insisted that Liverpool haven’t done that for a very long time so they are all really looking forward to that.

He noted that if the team can bring the full Liverpool Football Club package on the different pitches then they are not great to play against.

Liverpool will be playing their first Premier League match against Norwich City on Saturday evening.
