Man Utd defender Victor Lindelof who partnered with Lisandro Martinez in the defence area, admitted their recent UCL outing was a stern test.

Speaking on their defeat vs Bayern, Lindelof said the Red Devils played against a tough squad.

The game ended in a 4-3 win for the German club.

Two goals from Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry saw Man United fall behind during the first half before Rasmus Hojlund grabbed his first goal in the Red Devils colours at the start of the second half.

Harry Kane’s penalty made it 3-1, before midfielder Casemiro narrowed a second goal for the Red Devils.

Bayern substitute Mathys Tel then netted the home side’s fourth, before our Casemiro scored his brace with the seventh goal of the night.

“I mean, coming here is always tough,” he reflected when speaking to MUTV.

“We played against a very, very good team. We still managed to score three goals but we didn’t get a result.

“So of course it’s frustrating as we wanted a better result obviously.”
