Chelsea returned to action on Saturday when they face Bournemouth in the Premier League.

The game ended up becoming the Blues’ first win under their interim manager Frank Lampard.

Chelsea won the game with a 3-1 win and according to Lampard, it would boost the players’ confidence.

However, it wasn’t all good news for Chelsea as they suffered an injury blow in Ben Chilwell.

And Lampard while speaking to the press in a post-match statement, gave an update on Chilwell after the left-back defender limped off in the pitch in the second half.

‘It’s a hamstring injury. We don’t know if it’s serious but with a hamstring injury at this stage of the season it’s clearly a worry for the last few games,’ Lampard said.

With four games left to go, it is unlikely, Chilwell will be available to play as he may have joined the list of Chelsea injured players who might not feature for the rest of the season.
