Everton manager in a recent statement has given an update on Anthony Gordon’s link to Chelsea as he said nothing has changed.

With the look of things, the Toffees are keen on keeping Gordon, despite his desire to leave for Stamford Bridge where he can play in the Uefa Champions League.

Gordon was in action for Everton during their EPL match vs Brentford as he fired home a fine opener for the Toffees in a game that ended 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Lampard speaking in a statement said: “A player at his level should react positively and I thought he did that.”

On talk of a £60m bid for Gordon, he said: “It’s not happened. Nothing has changed.”

With the look of things, Chelsea may have to look elsewhere for now and possibly return for him next summer.

In another report, Chelsea won their EPL match against Leicester City which ended in a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge.
