Former England international, Frank Lampard who was a former Chelsea coach, has suggested that he could make a return to the Championship division[tps_footer][/tps_footer] if he gets the right club.

Recall that Lampard was sacked at Chelsea in January after the Blues dropped out the top four under his management, he was however replaced by Thomas Tuchel.

Since his sack at Stamford Bridge, Lampard has been without a coaching job, however, reports are speculating he could resume as Crystal Palace coach next season.

The former Chelsea star in a statement has said he doesn’t have an ego problem and is willing to return to the Championship division.

Recall that before he joined the Blues as manager, Lampard of was in charge of Championship side, Derby County until 2019 when he went on to join Chelsea.

“I’m not rushing into anything but if the opportunity arises and it’s the right one then I want to work again.

“I love working in management more than I thought I would.

“I would take a view ongoing into the Championship. If it was the right club, the right project, for sure. I don’t have an ego where I feel just because I’ve managed in the Champions League, that’s the be-all and end-all,” Lampard told the UK Times.
