Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has revealed his team injury problems ahead of their FA Cup third round tie against Morcambe at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea face Morcambe on Sunday at their home stadium as they are eager to turn their season around after a bad run of form that has seen them slip to eight on the league table.

Frank Lampard’s side has just won one of their last six matches and their performance against Manchester City has raised eyebrows about their title credentials.

Speaking to the press ahead of their FA Cup match, Frank Lampard confirmed that the Blues will be without Andreas Christensen, Reece James and N’Golo Kante.

Righ-back Recce James has not appeared for Chelsea in their last two games as he has not been able to overcome a hamstring problem.

Centre-back Christensen is suffering from a knee injury he sustained in the draw against Aston Villa and he will likely be replaced by Fikayo Tomori who has been linked with a move away from the club.

Ever presence defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante has also been ruled out of the tie as the world cup winner is struggling with a minor hamstring issue.
