Chelsea midfielder and France international N’Golo Kante has spoken about his future at the club as he said he wants to be a part of their new future.

Kante, whose current contract with the Blues will expire in the summer has been linked with moves to rivals Arsenal and Spanish side Barcelona.

Since moving to Stamford Bridge from Leicester City in 2016, the French midfielder has won the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup.

However, injuries have limited Kante to just six Premier League starts this season, but Chelsea are determined to keep him for at least one more season.

When asked if he wanted to stay at Chelsea, Kante told Sky Sports: “For sure. It’s an exciting project for the club.

“Unfortunately this season hasn’t been to Chelsea’s standards. But everyone wants to go in this way, the way of success and winning titles.

“I hope this club will again fight in this direction. Let’s see where I will be but I hope that this is a change for the club, that is most important.”
