Chelsea midfielder and Italy international Jorginho has set a new record for himself at the club.

This comes as Jorginho surpassed Eden Hazard, who now plays for Real Madrid as he overtakes him with the number of penalty taking

Jorginho attained this feat over the weekend after he scored a penalty during Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Everton on Saturday.

The Blues defeated Everton at Goodison Park thanks to Jorginho’s first-half penalty.

However, according to Goal, Jorginho’s goal against Everton means the Italy international has now scored 18 penalties for Chelsea, surpassing Hazard, who has 17.

Jorginho is second behind former Chelsea star and now Everton manager Frank Lampard, who has 41 Premier League penalties goals for Chelsea.

In another report, the Blues started the new season on a clean sheet and would hope to keep it that way for some weeks.

Chelsea according to many predictions have been tipped to finish outside the top four owing to their low activities in the summer transfer window.
