Jorginho reacts to comment that he was able to join Chelsea because of Sarri

Italy international and Chelsea midfielder,  Jorginhi has grown to be a key player at Stamford Bridge under Thomas Tuchel as a coach.

However, there are people who still believe he would not have earned a transfer to Chelsea If not for the former manager, Maurizio Sarri, who signed him from Napoli.

Recall that when Sarri moved to Stamford Bridge, he came with a football philosophy known as the Sarri Ball and had to bring in Jorginho, who was his crucial player at Napoli.

Jorginho, in a recent statement, had admitted that it bothered him when people said he only earned a move to Stamford Bridge because of his ties with the former manager.

“The thing that bothered me the most was to hear that I arrived here because of Sarri,” the Italy midfielder told BT Sport. “That without him I would never be here.”

“That I didn’t deserve to be at this club because I wasn’t’ good enough. It’s not correct, I have my value.”

Jorginho is expected to start for Chelsea when they face Italian club Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
