Jorginho is too slow with the ball – Former Chelsea star spills

Former Chelsea star, Frank Leboeuf has shared his thought on midfielder Jorginho’s style of play, adding that the Italian’s time at Stamford Bridge should come to an end.

According to Leboeuf, the Italy international is too slow for Chelsea’s kind of football.

Jorginho’s contract with Chelsea will expire at the end of the season, and there are already rumours about his future away from the club.

Writing in his column for Si & Dan Talk Chelsea (via Chelsea News), Leboeuf said: “Jorginho has served the club very well, but he is nowhere near it anymore.

“I had my time at Chelsea and people made it clear that John Terry was coming and I had to make way for him, and that is understandable.

“That is life. There is a present and there is a past, and the future is not for us. You have to accept that.

“I do like the way Jorginho plays, but he is too slow when he has the ball, and defensively he doesn’t participate enough for me,” he said.
