Italian side wants to sign out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder on a permanent deal
This summer transfer window will be closing in the next few days, and Chelsea are eager to get some players off their wage bill in a bid to accommodate new players.
One of the players not wanted at Stamford Bridge again is Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has failed to impress ever since he joined from Monaco in 2017.
Bakayoko has been forced to spend the majority of his career on loan, but AC Milan are eager to sign him this summer.
According to a new report from Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan are negotiating a deal with Chelsea over Bakayoko as they are willing to sign him on a permanent deal.
Chelsea will be eager to get Bakayoko off their book, and the deal might be completed anytime soon.
Bakayoko has gotten used to the Seria A; he spent last season in the Serie A on loan with Napoli and was a first-team regular for them as he clocked 32 league appearances.
He also spent the 2018/19 season with AC Milan, and he was a huge influence in the dressing room as he had 31 league appearances for the club in that campaign.
Bakayoko is valued at €20m, and AC Milan will be capable of paying such a transfer fee for the 27 years old France international.
