Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has said he wouldn’t praise Timo Werner or any player in his squad following their recent win over Leicester City.

Remember that Chelsea played the Foxes in the Premier League on Tuesday with 2 goals to 1.

Chelsea won all three points thanks to an effort from Jorginho and Antonio Rudiger.

The Blues could have scored more than 2 goals as the two goals scored by Timo Werner were turned down by the Video Assistant Referee VAR.

Asked about Werner’s performance, Tuchel told Sky Sports, “It’s his job to be involved in everything and he needs to be involved on Sunday again. It’s no time now for extra praise.

“Enjoy, shut up, enjoy your free day and get ready for Sunday. I don’t feel comfortable now celebrating, I just say what’s needed.”

Tuchel told his players to focus on their game vs. Aston Villa in the Premier League and Man City in the Uefa Champions League.

The Blues are currently seated at the 3rd spot on the log table and would hope to seal their top four finishing in the Premier League this season.
