Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has sent a message to Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino following the Blues embarrassing defeat at Emirates Stadium.

Recall that the Gunners scored 5 goals against Chelsea, with the Blues former star Kai Havertz putting his name on the score sheet twice.

In a post-match statement, Arteta acknowledged that Pochettino was doing a great job at Stamford Bridge.

The Gunners boss, who said he has also been in Pochettino’s spot in the past, revealed the Blues deserved to win every match considering how they have been playing.

Arteta said in a statement via Arsenal website:

“All the sympathy in the world with everything that he’s been through, everything that he’s doing, he knows that. I’ve been on the other side as well and nothing. He’s doing a great job, if you look at this team and analyse six, seven games of them, they deserve to win every match they play big games, big teams and they deserve to beat all of them. Hopefully things will turn around and be as he deserves.”

Meanwhile, the Gunners are now considered the favourites to win the Premier League title this season.
