Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is not available for selection ahead of England Under-21’s crunch European Championship game against Portugal.

Hudson-Odoi has become an important player ever since Thomas Tuchel was appointed as the Chelsea manager.

He has fitted into the coach new formation as he’s been deployed as a wing-back.

However, ahead of England’s match against Portugal, Hudson-Odoi will not be playing a part because of a shoulder injury sustained in training yesterday.

Hudson-Odoi has now been replaced in Aidy Boothroyd’s side by former Tottenham Hotspur academy star Noni Madueke.

Despite his injury, Chelsea fans have nothing to worry about as the issue is not serious and he is expected to be fit in time for their final group stage game.

Chelsea has already lost N’Golo Kante to injury as he was forced to leave the France national team to get enough treatment with the blues.
