Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been linked with a return to the English Premier League as reports linked him with a move away from his current club Real Madrid.

The reports have linked Hazard to Chelsea’s Premier League rivals, Newcastle and Aston Villa, who are considered to be his most likely suitors.

Newcastle with the financial base can pay Hazard’s huge wages, reported being £ 400,000 a week, while Aston Villa are keen on playing in Europe and are willing to back their new manager Unai Emery with new signings.

According to El Nacional, Real Madrid are ready to cut their losses and get rid of Hazard at the earliest opportunity and will listen to permanent and temporary offers for the Belgian striker.

The UEFA Champions League holders are content to take a huge loss on Hazard, who, while at Chelsea, was considered one of the world’s best players.

Hazard has struggled In Spain, scoring 18 goals in 72 appearances for Real Madrid so far.

His time at Real Madrid has been plagued with injury and fitness issues.
