Havertz hails Chelsea new striker

Chelsea star Kai Havertz is full of praises for the club’s latest signing and England international Raheem Sterling.

According to Havertz, Sterling would bring a lot of support to the Blues squad next season.

The Germany international said that the former Man City star’s quality is already on display just a few days after he joined them.

He stressed that other Chelsea players can already see how good and fast the 27-year-old is in training.

Sterling moved to Stamford Bridge this summer to secure his place in the England national team squad for the Qatar 2022 World Cup coming up in November.

“He is definitely going to help us. We all know he is a great player,” Havertz said.

“I saw a stat about him that he has had the most goals and assists for Man City in the last five years, something like that. It tells the whole story of him.

“He was a great player for City and the national team as well. Hopefully, he can keep up his level here. For me and for everyone, he is going to help.”
