Harry Kane calls this Chelsea player a ‘Special Player’

Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane has hailed his fellow countryman, Mason Mount who plays for Chelsea.

According to Kane, he stressed that Mount is a special and fantastic player.

This comes amidst the 22-year-old performance during the game vs. Spanish side Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Recall that Chelsea hosted the Los Blancos in the second leg on Wednesday night.

The Blues were able to end Real Madrid race in the tournament with a 2-0 scoreline, thanks to efforts from Timo Werner and Mason Mount.

“Mason [Mount] is a fantastic player, great on the ball, great worth ethic,” the Tottenham Hotspur forward told beIN SPORTS.

According to Kane, he stressed that Mount wins the balls back, makes tackles, which are an underrated part of his game.

“He’s a truly special player, and it’s great for him to be playing in a Champions League final in a few weeks’ time. He was great again against Real Madrid,” Kane noted.

Hopefully, Tuchel will give Mount a chance in the UCL final when Chelsea take on Man City later this month.

In another report, Chelsea will face Man City in the Premier League this weekend with the game to be played at Etihad Stadium.
