Guardiola names two Premier League rivals Chelsea were better than

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reacted to his side’s 4-4 draw vs Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Guardiola, who hailed the Blues for an impressive game pointed out that they have made it a habit of giving tough games to their Premier League title rivals this season.

The Man City manager pointed to Chelsea’s 1-1 draw on the opening day of the season and a 2-2 draw with Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

Same as Jurgen Klopp led Liverpool side who were unable to leave Chelsea’s home stadium with a win.

“Liverpool couldn’t win here and they were much much better than Arsenal,” Guardiola said.

The result leaves Man City on top of the table with 28 points, one more than both Liverpool and Arsenal, who are in the second and third spot respectively.

Chelsea have moved to the top half of the table, sitting in 10th place with 16 points and would hope to keep the momentum when they return from the international break.
