Man City manager Pep Gaurdiola has advised Chelsea to give their current manager Graham Potter more time at the club.

Guardiola made this statement after a 4-0 win over the Blues in the FA Cup on Sunday.

The win is the second time in less than a week that Man City have beaten Chelsea.

Following the recent defeat, there have been growing calls for Chelsea to sack Potter as they have won just one of their last seven matches in all competitions and are seated at the 10th spot In the Premier League table.

As it stands, Chelsea have also been kicked out of both the FA and League Cup.

However, Guardiola said: “I’d say to Todd Boehly, give Graham Potter time. Give him time. All the managers need time and he is right. I know at big clubs results are important but give him time.

“What he did at Brighton as outstanding, but all the managers need time he is right.
