Fulham have reportedly joined the race to sign Raheem Sterling from Chelsea this summer transfer window.

The reports claims Fulham are considering a £5 million loan for Sterling, who recently returned to Chelsea from Arsenal.

Recall that the Gunners signed Sterling on loan but had to send him back to Stamford Bridge after he failed to impress at the club.

Amid interest for the former Manchester City star, Fulham have recently emerged as a possible option, with the Cottagers said to be keeping a tab on other targets.

While Marco Silva’s side are focusing on other targets, Football Insider reported that Fulham could pursue a move for Sterling towards the end of the summer window.

The report claimed that Fulham could get ‘creative’ with a loan proposal due to the potential stumbling block of Sterling’s salary, which is said to be around £350,000 a week.

Fulham may look to reach an agreement with Chelsea over a deal that would see them pay a £5m loan fee and half of Sterling’s wages.
