Frank Lampard shares update about Chelsea’s injuries ahead of Arsenal clash

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has given an update above the Blues injury list as they prepare to meet Arsenal in a London derby on boxing day.

The Blues have been rocked with different injury problem in the past few weeks with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech yet to feature in the last three matches.

Recce James also missed the clash against West Ham United after sustaining a small injury in training ahead of the clash against the Hammers and things got more complicated for the Blues when Ben Chilwell went off as early as possible.

Chilwell went off with a twisted ankle after 10 minutes against West Ham and was replaced by Emerson.

Lampard during his press conference has now revealed that Hakim Ziyech will not be playing any part in their game against Mikel Arteta side on Saturday.

However, he shared a positive news concerning the fitness of Chilwell and James as he noted that he can confirm that they will be making an appearance.

James and Chilwell have been supporting Chelsea attack with their pace and good crosses ever since the season started and the Blues fans will be eager to see them back on the pitch.

The match vs. Arsenal is an important one for both London clubs and either of them will hope to win all three points.
