Former Manchester United striker, Andy Cole in a recent comment has expressed concerns about the form of Casemiro this season.

Recall that Casemiro moved to Old Trafford from Real Madrid and played a key role in the team’s success, including scoring in the Carabao Cup final.

However, his second season with the Red Devils has been plagued with injuries and a lack of consistency.

Despite scoring the winning goal for Man Utd against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup fifth round, Cole is unimpressed by Casemiro’s overall performance this term.

He believes the football should be questioning why such an influential player has struggled in his second season.

According to Cold, no one can rest on their laurels in football as everyone is always questioning everything.

“You have to be concerned because he was such a big influence last season,” Cole told Betfred.

“So if you are such a big influence one season and then you are struggling the next, then of course everybody’s going to ask questions.

“In football, you can never rest on your laurels because everybody’s always questioning everything.”
