Former Chelsea star reveals favourite to win EPL title

Former Chelsea star Jole Cole has revealed Man City as the favourites to win the English Premier League this season, despite the fact that Liverpool are already closing in on them.

As of now, Liverpool are only three points behind Man City, who are seated at the top of the league, but Cole believes the Reds don’t have a chance of winning.

A few weeks back, the Citizens City seemed to have won the title already, with Pep Guardiola’s side winning 12 Premier League games in a row.

But after their recent lost to Tottenham and dropped points against Southampton, Liverpool have been able to close the gap on them.

“Liverpool have closed the gap but I still don’t think there is much pressure on Man City,” Cole told Coral.

“The way they have played this season, they won’t be worried at the moment.

“I can’t see them dropping many points between now and the end of the season and I certainly can’t see them losing two games.

“Liverpool have tougher games left I feel and I just don’t see them catching City, despite the gap shortening to three points at the moment,” he said.
