Former Chelsea manager opens up on coaching national team
Former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, in a recently statement voiced his readiness to coach a national team either in Africa, Europe, or South America.
Mourinho, who has also coached top clubs like Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Manchester United boss, said this in a chat with Fabrizio Romano, a football expert.
The Portuguese, 64, has been out of job since he left Italian Serie A side AS Roma in January.
However, the ‘Special One’, who once coached Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, is looking to return to football management.
“To coach a national team is an objective for me,” he said.
“Maybe right before the World Cup, Euros or the Copa America, African Cup. I can, yes. But waiting two years for that, I don’t know! Maybe one day it will happen.”
Meanwhile, Mourinho has also been linked with another return to Stamford Bridge.
