Former Chelsea manager names England star as best youngest player
Newly appointed Fernabahce manager Jose Mourinho in a recent statement named Real Madrid attacking midfielder Jude Bellingham as the current best young player in the world.
Bellingham, who is only 20, has established himself as a key player in manager Carlo Ancelotti’s set-up at Real Madrid.
Recall that the English player moved to Los Blancos from German side Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023.
He went on to score 23 goals and created 13 assists across competitions for the Spanish La Liga giants.
Last season, he was part of the Los Blancos squad that lifted the UEFA Champions League.
Speaking about Bellingham, Mourinho in a statement via @theMadridZone) said Jude Bellingham is the best young player in the world.
According to the former Chelsea manager, the attacking midfielder has a great future ahead of him as he could turn out to be a top star in football.
“Looking into the future and just imagining what he can become in a few years,” Mourinho said.
Meanwhile, Bellingham was in action for England during their opening game against Serbia in the Euro 24 over the weekend.
He scored the lone goal for the Three Lions in the first half.
