Former Chelsea and now Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has named Liverpool and Manchester City as the two best clubs in the world.

Conte made this known ahead of Tottenham’s clash with Liverpool on Saturday in the EPL.

The Italian will lead the Hotspurs to Anfield to face Liverpool who are still in contention to win a quadruple of trophies this season.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have already won the Carabao Cup in February, and are just one point behind Manchester City in the Premier League and have reached the finals of the FA Cup and Champions League.

Liverpool were able to make it to the UCL finals for the third time in 5 years after they made an unexpected turn back to beat Spanish side Villarreal.

“We are playing against one of the best teams in the world, away. We prepare like usual,” he told his pre-match press conference on Thursday.

“I have watched the game against Villarreal, and it was incredible the calm that the team showed in a difficult situation. They were 2-0 down and the atmosphere was very difficult. They are one of the best teams in the world, with Manchester City.”
