Former Chelsea forward, Romelu Lukaku has insisted that he is on the same level as the likes of Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski.

Romelu Lukaku moved to Inter Milan ahead of the 2019/20 campaign for a fee in the region of £68m.

His move to Seria A has been fruitful as he’s been banging in goals from all cylinder, helping Inter Milan to win their first Seria A title in eleven years last season.

Lukaku’s impressive performance has also continued for Belgium, netting three times for Roberto Martinez’s side so far at the European Championships.

However, that has not stopped him from facing criticism from fans who believe he should not be ranked among the best.

Speaking ahead of Belgium’s round of 16 ties against Portugal, Lukaku insisted that he should be ranked as one of the best forwards in the world.

He stated that people talk about Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema, Luis Suarez and Harry Kane at a world-class level, but with him, it’s always about being in good form.

However, Lukaku noted that in the last two years, he thinks he has shown it’s not just good form, but he belongs with that group, and he’s at that level.
