Former Chelsea defender tells Real Madrid to sign Arsenal star
Months to the January transfer window and clubs may already be drawing up the list of players they could sign.
Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger has sent a message to the Los Blancos about signing Arsenal’s William Saliba.
Rudiger expressed his desire to partner the Frenchman in Los Blancos’ central midfield as he rated the Arsenal star as the one defender he would like to see moves to the La Liga side.
In an interview with Insider Scoop podcast, the Germany International and former Chelsea star was quizzed about the defender he would sign at Real Madrid.
Rudiger disclosed that he is very happy with his current central back partner, Militao at Real Madrid, added that he came back from a big injury, he’s getting back to his best.
He, however, stressed there’s so many games, so the Los Blancos would rotate, so it would be great to have a player like Saliba.
Meanwhile, Saliba, has been one of the standout performers for Arsenal this season and has impressed with his composed defensive play and ability to read the game.
It is unlikely that manager Mikel Arteta will agree to any club to sign the defender in January as they look to compete for the EPL title against Man City this season.
