Former Chelsea coach names nine players he could build Man Utd around

Former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has named nine Man Utd players he could build around the Red Devils to turn their fortune around.

Conte is one of the popular faces on the lineup that is favourite to replace an underperforming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the none players Conte intends to build his team around at Man Utd  are Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba, Raphael Varane, Alex Telles, Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford.

The latest reports mean that the Red Devils players like captain Harry Maguire and full-backs Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are in danger of losing their places in the starting XI if Conte becomes the new coach.

It’s also reported that the former Chelsea manager would also want to sign a new goalkeeper.

Should Man Utd fail to impress in their weekend game vs Tottenham and their next two matches, Conte will likely replace Solskhaer at Old Trafford.

Conte has been out of job since last season after he won the Italian Seria A title with Inter Milan.

The reports revealed the former Chelsea and Inter Milan coach is keen on a taking a job at Old Trafford as well as making a return to England.
