Former Chelsea player Alan Hudson has revealed that misfiring striker Timo Werner needs to see a psychiatrist if he wants to rejuvenate his career at Chelsea.

Timo Werner was one of Chelsea’s addition during the transfer window as the blues beat off competition from the likes of Liverpool to sign their top target.

The Germany international started his blues career in a good form as he was banging in goals before things took a dramatic turn.

Werner has failed to score in the last 10 Premier League games as his last goal for Chelsea was against Morcambe in the FA Cup.

He also failed to score from the penalty spot when he was given the chance to take it against Luton Town.

With the league getting more tougher, Alan Hudson while speaking with Caughtoffside stated that Tuchel will strive to improve Werner and Kai Havertz, of course, and he think the German tactician needs a psychiatrist for Werner.

Hudson noted that Werner really seems to be on a different planet, kind of lost in space making the simple things look so difficult.

He added that Werner has to work on his head more than his feet.

Timo Werner will be eager to put a smile on the face of Chelsea fans if he’s among the players that will face Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
