Premier League side, Liverpool are reportedly in talks with Turkish giants Fenerbahce who are willing to bring in Divock Origi this season.

Origi has found limited game time ever since Diogo Jota arrived at Anfield and he is now down the pecking order.

The Belgium international is surplus to requirement at Anfield but Liverpool were not able to get him a club before the transfer window was shut.

However, teams in the Turkish league are still allowed to bring in players with their transfer window not closing until the 8th of September.

A new report from Fotospor has now claimed that Divock Origi is close to joining Fenerbahce.

The report stated that the Yellow Canaries have been looking for a striker and have identified the Belgium international as their preferred choice.

Talks are said to be progressing very quickly with the final round of negotiations set to take place before the end of the transfer window in Turkey.

Origi played an important role in Liverpool’s triumph in the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020.
