Ex-Liverpool player says Kai Havertz should rebuff Manchester United for Chelsea

Dietmar Hamann has encouraged Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz to pick Chelsea over Manchester United whenever given the decision.

Kai Havertz is reputed to be a target for both Premier League heavyweights Chelsea and Manchester United this summer, just as Bayern Munich.

The talented youngster has been legitimately associated with 16 Bundesliga goals this season, prompting a supposed £75m price tag being put on his head.

Bayer Leverkusen Kai Havertz is said to have demonstrated that he would be available to joining Manchester United, however Dietmar Hamann – who burned through 11 seasons in the Premier League – accepts that Chelsea would be the more astute decision if he is to prevail in English football.

Chelsea are also accepted to be very nearly finishing a £53m deal for Kai Havertz’s comrade Timo Werner, who has featured for RB Leipzig this season.

It remains to be seen if Chelsea would actually sign Bayer Leverkusen youngster Kai Havertz.

Chelsea are currently contemplating selling N’Golo Kante to Real Madrid in order to have enough funds to sign the likes of Kai Havertz and also complete the signing of in Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

Ex-Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann believes Kai Havertz stand a better chance at Chelsea than Manchester United.
