England performances in the ongoing Euro 24 tournament in Germany is not going as expected as the Three Lions were recently held to a draw by Denmark.

In a post-match statement, England captain, Harry Kane, explained why the team is struggling.

Kane who played in the English squad as they drew 1-1 against Denmark on Thursday in a report via BBC said England were facing troubles both on and off the ball.

According to the Bayern Munich striker, England led by Gareth Southgate were below their best.

Kane said England are struggling both with and without the ball. He added that the pressure in their two games haven’t been right and with the ball hasn’t been good enough.

The former Tottenham star said his teammates dropped below their levels a little bit.

He acknowledged that their game against Denmark was tough, but stated that England remain calm.

Kane was, however, glad that the Three Lions managed to get away with a point from the match.

Recall that England had managed to defeat Serbia in a 1-0 scoreline in their opening game at the tournament.

They will now focus their attention on their next game against Slovenia.
