The Blues will return to action on Sunday in the Premier League after their victory vs Zenit Petersburg in their Champions League first match of the season.

Chelsea will face Tottenham in their next game, which promises to be an interesting one.

Recall that the Blues defeated Aston Villa over the last weekend; hopefully, they have the advantage to win over the Hotspur, who suffered their first defeat of the season last week vs Crystal Palace.

Ahead of the game against Chelsea, the North London club have been handed an injury boost.

Recall that Nuno Espirito Santo’s centre-backs faced a torrid afternoon against the Seagulls last weekend, with Wilfried Zaha and Odsonne Edouard leaving Tottenham with their first defeat of the season.

The game played at Selhurst Park saw Eric Dier being forced out with an injury while Japhet Tanganga was given his marching orders for two yellow cards. The duo of Davinson Sanchez and Cristian Romero are also unavailable due to quarantine.

The Daily Mail, in a report, however, revealed that Sanchez and Romero, as well as South American Giovani Lo Celso, will all be available to face the Blues.

The report added that Dier could also be available; the Hotspurs also have Joe Rodon as another option in defence if Romero and Sanchez are not ready to start.
