Former Chelsea star, Frank Leboeuf, has tipped his former club to finish in the third spot on the Premier League table this season.

Leboeuf, in his statement, also issued a warning to Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel stressing that the team win be left in ‘no man’s land’ in the Premier League title race if he finds a solution to their weak areas.

According to him, Tuchel must ‘find a solution’ amid their recent decline or risk being left behind in the third position.

This is coming after Chelsea recently dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Everton on Thursday night.

The outcome of the match has seen Chelsea remain at the third position on the log with three points behind Liverpool and four points behind league toppers Manchester City.

“We are going to know very soon whether it’s a two-horse race or a three-horse race because Chelsea plays Liverpool and Manchester City at the beginning of next year,’ the Frenchman told ESPN FC.

“But we have to be realistic right now, the way they [Chelsea] play compared to Manchester City – because I think even Liverpool are struggling as well – there is no way they can cope with Manchester City right now.

“They have to change something, they have to have those men, the fit guys coming back very, very soon and they have to find solutions.

“Otherwise, they are going to be in no man’s land. They are much better than West Ham and Manchester United, but I think they are not as good as Liverpool and Manchester City.

“So they are going to be on their own, finish third.”
