Chelsea have suffered another major injury blow after their 0-0 draw against Brentford on Wednesday night in the Premier League.

This comes as their midfielder Conor Gallagher was forced off in the 16th minute at the Gtech Community Stadium after the ball cannoned into his knee while it was planted in the turf.

Gallagher was later replaced by Mateo Kovacic.

Speaking about Gallagher’s Injury Chelsa manager, Graham Potter, during his post-match press conference said: “I haven’t spoken to the doctors but he just felt ill.

“He thought he was going to be sick so hopefully it’s just a 24 hour thing and he will be okay.”

Aside from Gallagher, Potter is currently without defenders Reece James and Wesley Fofana, with James very likely to miss the World Cup with a knee problem.

Also, the Blues’ key midfielder N’Golo Kante has been ruled out of form for the rest of this season and would miss the world cup as he is not expected to return until 2023.
