EPL: Chelsea stand no chance of winning title

Former Chelsea star John Terry has written off the Blues’ chances of winning the title this season.

Terry no longer believes the Blues can win the Premier League title this season as he urged the club to focus on other titles

This is coming despite the fact that Chelsea secured their first win under Graham Potter on Saturday after beating Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park.

As of now, the Blues are in the fifth position on the Premier League table with 13 points from seven matches.

Speaking on beIN Sports, Terry said: “It’s been five years since we won the Premier League. Is that going to change this year? No.

“So you are looking at the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, European Cup… it’s going to be tough.

“So then all of your eggs are going to be in two baskets domestically, and actually you need to keep players fit, so do you rest and rotate players to make sure they get in the top four? What’s the priority? Only Potter will know that.”
