EPL: Aston Villa vs Chelsea: Possible prediction

Chelsea will on Sunday face Aston Villa in the Premier League as the match happens to be one of the six matches that was not postponed for the EPL.

The Blues head to the match after their victory in the EFL vs Brentford, where they won in a 2-0 scoreline.

Chelsea will hope to continue in that form in the EPL today by winning all three points vs Aston Villa.

Ahead of the match, former Man Utd star Dimitar Berbatov has given his prediction.

Berbatov tips the match to be a tough one for the Blues, having been held to a draw the last time they played against Aston Villa.

On Aston Villa vs Chelsea, he told Betfair: “This will be a good game. Chelsea was held to a draw last time out and I sense another setback here. Steven Gerrard has really hit the ground running at Villa and getting a win in this one would be a great Christmas present to give to the fans. Prediction 2-1.”

In another report, Aston Villa will be without coach Gerrard when they face Chelsea today as the club confirmed the former Liverpool star has tested positive for the COVID-19.
