As Chelsea prepare to host Tottenham Hotspur tonight at Stamford Bridge in the first leg of the semi-final in the Carabao league tournament, manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed the list of players that will miss the match.

Tuchel, in a statement, confirmed that Trevoh Chalobah would miss the Blues match against Tottenham Hotspur due to injury.

Chalobah sustained a knock during the Blues Sunday match vs Liverpool in the EPL, which ended in a 2-2 scoreline.

The German manager also gave the latest update on Timo Werner, Andreas Christensen and Timo Werner.

“Andreas is a doubt for tomorrow,” Tuchel was quoted by Chelsea’s official website as saying at his pre-match press conference.

“Trevoh is definitely out for tomorrow because he has had a reinjury from before.

“Timo Werner trained yesterday, we have one more session to go and he feels much better which is a really good sign.”
