Despite growing pressure, Chelsea take action on Potter
Chelsea will continue to support Graham Potter as their manager despite their poor form so far.
Following their defeats in the EPL, there have been pressures and calls from fans and pundits for the club to sack the 47-year-old, who joined them in September.
Following an impressive start for Potter at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have suffered a dip lately as the former Brighton manager came under scrutiny with back-to-back defeats to Arsenal and Newcastle in the Premier League.
The Blues are also out of the Carabao Cup after they lost 2-0 at Manchester City.
However, despite all of this, football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, said the club have offered Potter their full support and feels a long-term project has only begun.
“Chelsea have no doubts on Graham Potter. Full support as long-term project has just started – feeling internally is that he needs time and he’s the right man for the job.
“Board additions will continue with Paul Winstanley,” Romano tweeted Monday morning.
