Chelsea’s midfielder and winger linked with moves to Newcastle United

Chelsea duo Hakim Ziyech and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have been linked with moves to clubs who have taken a lot of interest in them, Fabrizio Romano revealed.

The Blues winger and midfielder have both been linked to Newcastle United this week.

A report via the Telegraph revealed Newcastle want to sign Ziyech and Loftus-Cheek as they work towards boosting their squad ahead of a Champions League qualification.

The report further claimed that the Magpies are looking at the Chelsea pair’s team-mate Conor Gallagher.

While Ziyech has been getting game times lately, he could, however, leave Chelsea this month considering the new signings they have made in January.

Chelsea have signed three new attackers in Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix and Noni Madueke, which means the Moroccan chances of playing could further reduce.

Speaking on the transfer, Romano said: “Hakim Ziyech and Loftus-Cheek, they’re receiving a lot of interest. For Chelsea, it’s crucial to understand who they want to sell and then how to proceed with new signings.”
