Chelsea youngster reveals how he felt after scoring on his Premier League debut

Chelsea began their Premier League season with a convincing three nil victory over Crystal Palace and it’s a performance that will please the blues fans.

Goals from Marcos Alonso, Christain Pulisic and Trevoh Chalobah ensured the blues bag all three point in front but of their home fans.

However, it was the inclusion and performance of Trevoh Chalobah that has dominated the headlines with the youngster proving his worth.

Chalobah who has been at Chelsea since he was eight, made a surprise debut in Wednesday’s Uefa Super Cup win over Villarreal, having impressed Thomas Tuchel in pre-season.

He was trusted in the blues backline against Crystal Palace and he delivered with a debut goal.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live after the match, Chalobah revealed how he felt after scoring the goal.

According to the 22-year-old, he couldn’t believe when the ball went in as the crowd cheers gave him an hint that he has scored.

Chalobah noted that it was a surreal moment for him.

The youngster added that he’s lost for words as it’s been an amazing week for him because he has been Chelsea since he was eight.

Chalobah noted that playing at Stamford Bridge where he has been watching a lot of games, being a ball boy, watching games with his family and finally playing here is amazing.
