Chelsea FC have confirmed that Trevoh Chalobah has signed a new deal that will see remain at Stamford Bridge till the end of the 2025-26 campaign.

Chalobah has been impressive for the Blues this season under head coach Thomas Tuchel who gave the 22-year-old an opportunity in the first-team squad this season instead of being sent out on loan.

The academy graduate starter this season starring in the UEFA Super Cup against Villarreal before scoring on his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace three days later.

He has now made ten appearances in all competitions with impressive performances to show for.

As a reward for the job well done and his prospect, Chelsea have rewarded him with a new four-and-a-half-year contract.

Reacting to the announcement, Chalobah told Chelsea’s official website that it’s quite surreal and a dream for him to sign a new long-term contract for his boyhood club and hopefully, the dream continues.

He said, “It’s been an unbelievable start to the season and something I never expected but it just shows that the hard work I’ve put in and going out on loans has paid off.
