Following their exploits at the recently concluded 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Chelsea stars Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech have returned

However, Kovacic, who played for his home country Croatia returned to the UK with the bragging rights over Ziyech, who suffered a 2-1 defeat with his country Morocco.

Croatia came third in the world tournament and ended up with bronze medals in Qatar, Morocco fourth, while France and Argentina finished second and first respectively.

According to the reports, Ziyech and Kovacic, who have had a few days rest after returning from the Middle East, got back to work on Wednesday at the Blues training base following their win over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening in the Premier League.

They are expected to be available for Chelsea in their next game.

For now, there are no details of whether Ziyech, who had been linked with a January move from Chelsea will leave when the transfer window commences or not.
