Chelsea win big at the FIFA 2021 Best Award

The FIFA 2021 Best Award went down on Monday night in Zurich, Switzerland.

Chelsea were highly represented as their German coach Thomas Tuchel and goalkeeper Edouard Mendy won the award for Best Men’s coach and Best Men’s goalkeeper respectively.

The Blues coach Emma Hayes also won the Best Women’s coach.

Bayer Munich star Robert Lewandowski beat Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah to the men’s prize.

The Best FIFA Awards was inaugurated in 2016 after France Football broke the Ballon d’Or away from world football’s governing body after corruption allegations.

Best Men’s player: Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich and Poland).
