The latest reports from Stamford Bridge have claimed that the Blues are yet to reach a decision on whether to meet Everton’s £30m valuation of Lucas Digne.

While the reports disclosed that Digne has revealed his desire to leave Everton during the ongoing January transfer window, a number of clubs, including Chelsea, have been all been linked with an interest for him.

Chelsea want to sign the 28-year-old defender as a backup for Ben Chilwell, who is out of the squad for the remainder of the campaign owing to injury.

However, according to talkSPORT, the Thomas Tuchel’s led squad are still unsure whether to meet Everton’s £30m asking price for the left-back.

Aside from Chelsea, the likes of West Ham United and Aston Villa are also interested in signing Digne.

Despite earlier claims that Newcastle United were also part of the contenders for the defender, it has been revealed as mere speculations.

So far this season, Digne has made 15 appearances for Rafael Benitez’s side during the ongoing campaign but has not made an appearance since the beginning of December.
