Chelsea told to make move for Mbappe in January

Former Chelsea player, Frank Leboeuf, in a recent statement has urged the club to submit a £100m transfer offer for France international, Kylian Mbappe, in January.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly spent more than £250million in his first transfer window as they ended up signing Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Wesley Fofana and Marc Cucurella.

Leboeuf, however, believes Chelsea should also join the race for 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain attacker, who has been linked with a move away from the French club.

“When I heard Kylian Mbappe saying he doesn’t see his future at PSG, I thought there is nothing stopping Chelsea from going all out to try and bring him to Stamford Bridge,” Leboeuf told FairBettingSites.

“If he wants to leave PSG, Todd Boehly could slap £100m on the table and say “take it or leave it” because nobody else realistically is going to buy him.

“People say Real Madrid, but they have got Benzema up top and Vinicius Jr on the left and Rodrygo on the right. They are on fire, so I can’t see him going there right now.”
